SOLEM designed and modelled a packaged product range of commercial solar hot water systems. This was a range of pre-designed systems that were able to be sold by an Australian manufacturer for all applications of commercial solar hot water. The product ranged from 8m²–60m² of solar thermal collector area, and slowly adapted in design as sales increased to ensure it was meeting the demands of the end customers. The project began in 2011 and continued on to 2014. SOLEM was challenged to push the limits of engineering by developing a custom system that ensured fast and cost effective design and modelling. This included in-house training of the client by SOLEM.
